Improve Your Sleep Pattern

NEW MILFORD — A health forum, “Improve Your Sleep Pattern — Apnea/Snoring,” will be held on Tuesday, January 18, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, at the New Milford Hospital Robinson Conference Rooms.

Getting a restful and uninterrupted night’s sleep is critical for the body to function well throughout the day, and to maintain good health. Sleep apnea/snoring, the most common condition associated with sleep disruption, may also be associated with irregular heartbeat, high blood pressure, heart attack, and stroke. Early detection and treatment is important.

Dr Ganesh Natarajan, a sleep medicine specialist, will explain what sleep apnea is and its causes, effects, diagnosis, and treatment. He also will provide a tour of the hospital’s sleep center prior to the lecture.

This program is free and open to the public. Preregistration is requested by calling 860-350-7215.
