Hawley 3rd Grade

Laura Konkos and Jenna Moser interviewed the 3rd grade teachers and kids for the latest update. The teachers are very happy with their students’ work. The teachers showed us what a great improvement the 3rd grade kids have made since the beginning of the school year. “They are all great students,” quotes Mrs Trew.

The classes are doing a report on a famous person and the kids are assigned to read a biography, dress up as their character, and write a report. That would be one great sight to see!

Last week all the third graders had a Valentine’s day party. Some classes made Ice Cream Sundaes and crafts. That’s a party I would like to go to. Not too long ago, the third grade also had their sock-hop.

“It was great, and I had fun dancing with all my friends,” Katie from Mrs Qualeys class told us.

At the sock-hop, the kids ate pizza and cake, and danced around from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm on Friday at the Fireside Inn. From what we just told you, it sounds like the kids have been partying a lot, but partying is not only what they have been doing.

The third grade kids have been doing multiplication and division. We would like to make a shout out to Paul Marron for his birthday. Happy Birthday!!!
