Free Programs About In Vitro Fertilization:

FARMINGTON — Specialists with the Center for Advanced Reproductive Services at the University of Connecticut Health Center will lead informational sessions about current treatments for infertility, specifically in vitro fertilization (IVF), on August 5 and 19 at the health center. All sessions will run from 6 to 8:30 pm.

 The free programs are led by reproductive endocrinology experts Claudio Benadiva, MD, John Nulsen, MD, and Donald Maier, MD, The physicians present an informational session, typically once or twice each month, for couples who are interested in learning more about IVF. For each program, the doctors include an in-depth explanation of the IVF process and discuss some of the emotional issues surrounding IVF.

The Center for Advanced Reproductive Services offers many advanced techniques to help patients achieve successful pregnancies. UConn was one of the first IVF centers in Connecticut and is currently the largest such center in the state.
