Bereavement Support Group In Washington

WASHINGTON — A bereavement support group will begin Thursday, June 8, and continue for ten weeks at the parish house of First Congregational Church, 6 Kirby Road (On the Green) in Washington.

Group size is limited, so pre-registration is recommended. There is no charge. Meetings will begin each week at 5 pm.

The group will be geared for anyone who has recently lost their spouse. Anyone who may be still in need of some support after a period of mourning will also be welcome. The group will provide an opportunity to connect and find mutual support among people who are going through similar experiences.

In the ten weekly sessions, the group will focus on healing the emotional and spiritual wounds of grief and loss. In sharing stories, participants will support one another in working through the process of grief and finding ways to begin living again.
