The public is invited to join members of The Garden Club of Newtown for a special program featuring the history of Ferris Acres Farm on Tuesday, February 27.

Shirley and Charlie Ferris narrate a video showing the growth and development of the Sugar Street farm, from its founding in 1864 to the present. Mrs Ferris will introduce the video, and answer questions following its screening.

The program will begin at 1 pm, in the lower meeting room of C.H. Booth Library, 25 Main Street.

Admission is free.

In the event of a weather event closing the schools and municipal buildings, the meeting will be canceled.
