SMITH COLLEGE PRESENTS ‘ANSEL ADAMS’

NORTHAMPTON, MASS. — The Smith College Museum of Art will present the exhibition “Ansel Adams,” on view June 26–September 30.

 Ansel Adams is perhaps America’s best-known landscape photographer. Throughout his long career, Adams’s technical innovations and approach to his subjects influenced generations of black and white photographers.

This exhibition features 40 photographs drawn from the Smith College Museum of Art’s permanent collection, and shows a range of this important artist’s work.
