Flagpole Photographers Annual Spring Show At The Library

The Flagpole Photographers Camera Club will be having its Annual Members’ Exhibition & Competition this weekend at the Cyrenius H. Booth Library.

The show will be held in the downstairs public meeting room of the library on Saturday, April 24, from noon to 5 pm, and on Sunday, April 25, from noon to 4 pm. The exhibit is open to the public and free of charge, and complimentary refreshments are included.

The judges for the competition are from the Candlewood Camera Club in Danbury. They are Kathleen Skandera and Carol Gibson. The awards to be given out are the annual Dave Kriger Nature Award, Bruce Allen Open Print Award, Jeannette Talarino Best Flower Award, and the Judges’ Best In Show Award.

There will also be First, Second, Third, and Honorable Mention, in both color and black-and-white print. Attendees to the exhibit can select their favorite print for The People’s Choice Award.
