The sixteenth Sunday after Pentecost will be celebrated on October 1 at the 10:30 am service. The featured choir anthem will be “He Is Here in the Breaking of Bread.” Sunday school and Bible classes are at 9 am each Sunday. The calendar for the week includes a meeting of the Evening Bible Class on Monday, at 8 pm. On Wednesday the Chime Choir meets at 7:15 pm and the Senior Choir rehearses at 8 pm. The confirmation class meets on Thursday, at 7 pm, and elders gather at 8 pm in the church office. The Friday Bible group continues its study of “Prophets and Kings” on Friday at 12:30 pm. A reminder: the annual fall fair will be held from 9 am to 3 pm Saturday, September 30, on the church grounds. It will include craft items, bake goods, and an extensive tag sale.
