Vagabond Auctioneers Sold Four Benson Etchings

(W/2 Cuts)

NAPLES, FLA. -- Vagabond Auctioneers of Naples, Florida, held the second

auction of its summer season with excellent results and a well attended sale.

Owner and Auctioneer, Heather Hamilton, and her husband Michael Baque,

recently completed renovations to their former retail shop, Vagabond Vendors

Antiques, established 1982, converting the facility to a state of the art

Auction Gallery. Highlights of the sale included four Frank W. Benson

etchings, $4,070, a pair of Nineteenth Century Meissen snake-handled urns,

$880, a gilt bronze Louis-Philippe figural clock, $412.50, a large French hand

painted and signed `Levy' Belle Epoque Parian bust, $440, a Gulbrand Sether

watercolor entitled "Glow from the Forge," $770, a Louis XV painted beechwood

fauteuil, $770, and a French late Nineteenth Century birdcage with painted

ballooning scenes, $357.50.

All prices are inclusive of a ten percent buyers premium.
