Newcomers Sponsor Herb Talk

The Newtown Newcomers’ Club will be hosting a special program on herbs at Lexington Gardens beginning at 10 am, Friday, April 25.

This program will explore the different uses for herbs from the perspective of the gardener and the cook, as well as looking into the decorative uses of herbs.

Tom Johnson, owner and operator of Lexington Gardens for more than 30 years, and his staff will discuss herbs –– their cultural requirements, suggest a few cooking hints, and how herbs can be used in a landscape situation.
