To Meet

DANBURY – The Danbury chapter of The Compassionate Friends (TCF), a grief support group for families who have experienced the death of a child, will hold its regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, October 27, at 7 pm at the Danbury United Methodist Church on Clapboard Ridge Road (Route 39, Exit 5 off I-84).  The meeting topic will be “Holiday Memories: Keeping Your Child’s Memory Alive.”

The group, which meets the fourth Wednesday of every month, is part of the national support group for parents, grandparents and adult siblings who have experienced the death of a child.  For more information about the group and its meetings, call 203/797-8996 or 203/743-5613.

On Sunday, December 12, TCF will hold its third annual International Candle Lighting at 7 pm in every global time zone.  Everyone is invited to light candles in their homes in memory of all children who have died.
