High Rock Rd To Close

A section of High Rock Road in Newtown and Monroe will be closed to through-traffic from Great Ring Road in Newtown to Hammertown Road in Monroe for the replacement of the bridge across the Halfway River.

The road closure, which began October 25, is expected to continue until late November, according to the Newtown and Monroe public works departments.

The river is the border between the two towns.
