Recent Newtown Fitness Club men’s basketball game results:

 

Pantan Landscaping 91, My Place 74

Russ Stutsky had 26 points, Richie Engel dropped in 17, and Kevin Carolan and Mike Fern both had 13 to lead Pantan Landscaping.

My Place’s Corney Dunn led all scorers with 32 points, and teammates Dave Samoskevich (24 points) and Jack Lynch (18) also had big performances.

 

Total Pool & Spa 64,     Newtown Phone Book 51

Frank Galante and Kevin Barret led the winning team with 19 and 17 points, respectively. David Bescanson had 22 points and Rob Merryfield chipped in 15 for Newtown Phone Book.

 

Svanda Painting 86,     Newtown Mobil 70

Austin Bowes dropped in 34 points and Jeff Haddad knocked down 30 in the win. Roger Manning compiled 36 points in a losing cause.

Jeff Moxam’s 15 points led the way for the winners. Steve Bingham (18) and Dave Bescanson (15) led the way for Newtown Phone Book.

Total Pool & Spa pulled away for an easy win. Galante had 29 points, Barrett scored 27, Scott Lavalle had 25, and Phil Kraska scored 21. Pete Ivey had 25 and Manning added 21 for Newtown Mobil.

Pantan Landscaping defeated Svanda Painting 84-63. Engel led the winners with a 21-point performance and Fern added 18. Bowes had 26 points for Svanda Painting.
