Hosts Sought For Fresh Air Kids
Hosts Sought For Fresh Air Kids
The Fresh Air Fund is looking for volunteers to host an inner-city child this simmer through the fundâs Friendly Town program.
The program allows youngsters from New York City to experience simple summer pleasures like skipping rocks across a lake, smelling newly cut grass, and making new suburban and country friends.
Fresh Air hosts are young families, single professionals, empty nesters, and grandparents, all of whom want to share their communities with an inner-city child.
In 2005, The Fund continues its 128-year-old tradition of serving children with a wide variety of special events and volunteer opportunities. For more information on how you can make summer special for a Fresh Air child, call Nicole Zaihour at 212-897-8908, or The Fresh Air Fund at 800-367-0003.
