Free Balance Screening May 15

DANBURY — The Physical Therapy department of Associated Neurologists will present a free balance screening on Saturday, May 15, from 9 am to 1 pm, at Associated Neurologists, Physical Therapy, 69 Sand Pit Road, Suite 201.

Are you at risk for falling? Dizziness and balance problems are a significant problem for many people. Thirty-five to 50 percent of the population over 65 years of age experiences falls. An estimated 12.5 million Americans over the age of 65 have a dizziness or balance problem that significantly interferes with their lives. Forty percent of the population over the age of 40 will experience a dizziness disorder in their lifetime.

The public is invited to take advantage of this free screening. Refreshments and educational information will also be available.
