WCONN To Host Wine Tasting

DANBURY — Western Connecticut State University will host a “Holiday Wine Tasting Experience” at the university, a first-time event for its scholarship endowment fund.  The event will be held from 3 to 7 pm on Sunday, November 14, at the President’s Reception Room, WCSU Westside campus.

More than 100 wines from around the world will be provided by Nutmeg Discount Liquors, with gourmet hors d’oeuvres from the Emerald City Café and La Trattoria.

Donations, $25 per person, will help build this permanent scholarship program. Reservations are required; call 837-8298 before November 8.
