Lorraine Chmiel Vizer

Lorraine Chmiel Vizer, 93, of Newtown, widow of Frank Vizer, died June 21 at Ashlar of Newtown.

Mrs Vizer was born September 22, 1911, in Philadelphia, daughter of Stanislaw and Roberta Solon Chmiel. She was raised in Bayonne, N.J., and resided in New Brunswick, N.J., for more than 50 years, where she was employed by Bell Telephone as an operator before moving to Newtown to live with her niece four years ago.

Survivors include her nieces, Marjory Trosan and her husband, Michael, of Newtown and Roberta Grindle and her husband, Bruce, of Plattsburg, N.Y. Her great-nieces and nephews, Sarah Burns of West Haven, Kathryn Burns of Brooklyn, Meghan and Becky Trosan of Newtown, Brian Trosan of Ormond Beach, Fla., Jennifer Clemens and husband, David, and Michael, Kathryn, and Ryan Clemens of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Michael Grindle of Plattsburg, N.Y.

She was predeceased by her brothers and their wives, Frank and Betty Chmiel of Tucson, Ariz., and Stephen and Hazel Hersey Chmiel of Weymouth, Mass., and Port Orange, Fla.

Mrs Vizer will be interned with her husband in New Jersey at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
