Rotary Annual Pancake Day Saturday

Newtown Rotary is holding its Annual Pancake Day this Saturday in Edmund Town Hall, from 8 am to 1 pm. This will be the 40th year that this event has been held.

The cost is $5 per adult and $3 per child under 10 for all you can eat and drink. This is an annual community affair where people come and socialize.

Proceeds of the sale are added to the proceeds of other Newtown Rotary charitable and service organizations and people in the community, area, and world. Last year Newtown Rotary started a fund to refurbish the kitchen in the Alexandria room in Edmund Town Hall which has not been able to be used for years as it is below current safety codes.

Newtown Rotary meets every Monday evening for supper at 6:15 pm at the Fireside Inn. Anyone interested in learning more about Rotary is urged to contact Ed Osterman, 426-0530, or attend one of their meetings.
