Sierra Club Program

 On Action Wildlife

Members of Action Wildlife Foundation, a former Goshen family farm now dedicated to the preservation of wildlife, will describe the farm’s mission to preserve many species of wildlife at the next meeting of the Housatonic Valley group of The Sierra Club. Additionally, farm owner Ciel Boniewicz will discuss the many wildlife species she has imported to the farm in an ongoing effort to educate the public of the importance of AWF’s endeavor.

The Sierra Club will be meeting on Thursday, October 5, at Newtown Congregational Church’s community center, at 41-A Main Street in Newtown. The meeting will begin at 7:30 pm, and non-members are always welcome.

Parking is available in the adjacent space behind Edmond Town Hall or in the lower lots behind Newtown Savings Bank. For additional information call 775-9644 or 792-1209.
