The annual Kite-Flying Festival sponsored by Parks & Recreation and The Newtown Bee will be held at the Ram Pasture on Sunday, May 2, beginning at noon.

Awards will be presented at 12:30 pm in the following categories: highest flying kite, most colorful, best kite flyer, smallest kite that flies, best homemade kite, most unusual kite, largest, kite, longest tail.
