School Concert Winter Schedule

Newtown schools are planning musical entertainment for the community to enjoy. The following calendar shows when each school will be performing its winter concert.

Hawley School — The Hawley Chorus will perform on December 12 at Newtown Middle School at 7:30 pm. The snow date is December 14 at 7:30 pm at Hawley School. The band and orchestra from Hawley will perform December 13 at 7:30 pm at Newtown High School. The snow date is January 4 at 7:30 pm at Hawley School.

Head O’ Meadow — The fourth grade chorus from Head O’ Meadow School will perform on December 13 at 7:30 pm at the school. A snow date is scheduled for December 14. The HOM band and orchestra will play on January 11 beginning at 7:30 pm at Newtown High School. A snow date is set for January 18, same time and place.

Middle Gate School — The band and orchestra will play on January 17 starting at 7:30 pm at Newtown High School. Snow date is January 24, same time and place. The Middle Gate Chorus will perform January 18 at 7:30 pm at the school. A snow date is scheduled for January 23.

Sandy Hook School —  The band, orchestra, and chorus will perform on December 14 at 7:30 pm at Newtown High School, with a January 3 snow date.

Newtown Middle School — The winter concert is scheduled for December 11, 18, and 20 at 7:30 pm at Newtown High School. Snow dates are January 8, 9, 10.

Newtown High School — The winter concert for the high school is planned for December 15 at 7 pm at the high school. A snow date is set for December 19. The high school Color Guard has a festival on January 27 at the high school.
