In first flight action, Connie Watkins defeated Joan Mattern 5-and-4 and then defeated Ann Adams 2-and-1 to earn that title.
In a one-day menâs member-guest tournament at NCC, the foursome of Ed Sidlowsky, Charlie Walsh, John Piorkowski and Rich Roberts took low gross honors with a 62 while the foursome of Schooch Dunleavy, Tim OâConnor, Fred Sheyhing and Tom Marron took low net honors at 47.
Finishing second low net was the foursome of John Cerreta, Joe Rodrigues, Bruce Renna and Mark Scozzafava. Coming in third was the foursome of Bill Meyer, D. Van Pelt, R. Jarvis and R. Edmonds and coming in fourth was the foursome of Andy Comcowich, Walt Gebert, Walt Gebert Jr. and Will Casazza.
