On any team you need members with a different strengths. Ross Carley, Paul Lindquist, and George Ferguson, all of whom are running for District 1 on the Legislative Council, provide that diversity.

Ross Carley is an energetic and thoughtful planner. He has been invaluable for protecting Newtown’s interests in his capacity on the Lake Lillinonah Authority. His work on the Commission on Aging has helped many seniors with tax abatement.

Paul Lindquist has experience on the council and a proven record of hard work. His townwide survey, a large undertaking, was done with no expense to the town. His energy and enthusiasm are evident at council meetings.

George Ferguson is an innovative thinker who has helped the town acquire many acres of prime open space. He has shown the ability to put in the hours necessary to understand an issue.

All three men are respectful of the opinions of others. They make decisions deliberately after the facts are in. These two democrats and one republican have the intelligence and maturity of thought to move the town forward in a fiscally responsible way. They will be excellent representatives for District 1. Please vote for Carley, Lindquist, and Ferguson.
