Newtown Volunteer Ambulance Corps responded to 44 calls during the period May 6 to May 12.
There were 19 medical calls: 4 respiratory, 4 cardiac, 2 seizure, 2 diabetic and 7 miscellaneous medical. There were 19 trauma calls: 13 vehicular, 6 non-vehicular; and 6 standby/other calls.
Thirty-one patients were transported to the hospital; 13 were not transported.
The ages: infant to age 8, 3; ages 9 to 21, 8; ages 22-60, 21; over 60, 12.
Twenty-six were males, 18 were females.
Time of day: midnight to 8 am, 6; 8 am to 4 pm, 18, 4 pm to midnight, 20.
