Silly Little Millie
Silly Little Millie
Millie is a bright-eyed, beautiful, charming and very clever teenager looking for her forever home. Born outside this past blustery winter, she lost her mom at six weeks old and survived by burrowing in rocky crevasses in a woodsy Newtown neighborhood. She would have starved to death if it were not for a kindly neighborhood woman who brought her food every day. Finally she was taken in by a Danbury Animal Welfare Society volunteer and remains in foster care today. Sheâs a real card and loves tumbling with the other cats in her foster home, patting her foster momâs hand when she moves the computer mouse, and doing all the other cute things that adolescent cats do. Because she will need a little extra patience in adjusting to a new human in her life, her adopter should be an experienced cat lover. If interested in Millie, call DAWS at 426-1142 or 744-DAWS. Or visit the many other cats, dogs, kittens and puppies at DAWS shelter at 147 Grassy Plain Road (Route 53) in Bethel weekdays from 6 to 8 pm or weekends from 2 to 4 pm.
