‘Unity In Diversity’

Corpus Christi Faith Community will present Unity In Diversity on Charter Cable Television, Channel 21, on June 27 and 29 featuring a host of speakers at the 2004 Voice of the Faithful Conference, held in Boston.

The programs will highlight talks by canon lawyer the Rev Thomas Doyle, Dr James Carroll, Dr Mary Jo Bane, and by Congressman Thomas O’Neil, Jr. Their focus will be on “Keeping the Faith: Changing the Church.”

The programs will air at noon on Monday and 5:30 pm on Wednesday. On the following weeks, other speakers as well as local citizens will address some of the key issues of basic Christianity.

Unity In Diversity encourages all people to take the opportunity to learn about their neighbors from other faith communities, as well as their own, in a nonthreatening way. “If we really know one another, we have a better opportunity to work with one another,” said the program host, the Rev Leo McIlrath.
