Become A Certified Soccer Referee

For anyone interested in becoming a certified soccer referee, the course is now online at www.ctreferee.net. To be a referee for any sanctioned soccer games in Newtown one must be USSF certified. To take the course, prospective referees must be at least 13 years of age by June 30, 2011. 

The online course is administered by the Connecticut State Referee Program (CSRP). The entry level online training course must be completed by December 31 and is the only course offered to become certified for 2011. 

Once the course material is completed online, the referee candidate must attend a clinic, which will include a field session and the final test.
