A Gratifying Response

To the Editor:

As chairperson of this year’s Newtown Junior Women’s Club Spring Flower Sale, I’d like to thank everyone who came to support our fundraising effort on Mother’s Day weekend.

The money raised will go toward supporting our community-based programs such as: Science Workshops, Tag A Gift, and Back Pack Program.

We are grateful to the Newtown community for their interest in our club and our mission to “grow, share, give, and care.” We hope you will enjoy the beautiful flowers and please look for our mum sale in the fall!
