Summer Music Programs Enrollment Open

DANBURY — Enrollment has opened for Danbury Music Centre’s Summer Enrichment Program. This year the music center will offer “Summer Strings” with Larry Deming, Alison Breisler, and Judy Smith; “Summer Bands” with Albert Montecalvo; “Summer Chorus” with Jonathan Pope; and new this year, “Afrikan Drumming” with Ase-AmenRa Kariamu.

Call the music center for a brochure which lists age and experience qualifications for all programs.

“Afrikan Drumming” is the only class with limited enrollment and early registration is suggested for that class.

All classes take place in July and August and culminate with a public performance in August.

Tuition is very low with grants and funding from the Perrin Family Foundation, the City of Danbury, and the Mills-Tannenbaum Family. Financial assistance is available. For additional information or to request a brochure call 748-1716.
