Mitten Tree Project Continuing At Police Station

Town police are sponsoring their 11th Annual Mitten Tree Project in the main lobby of the police station at Town Hall South, 3 Main Street.

Residents are asked to leave donations of new mittens, scarves, jackets, and hats for the local needy. Garment donations will be accepted there daily, around the clock until January 1.

Donated garments will be distributed to the needy in town through social service agencies, police said.
