The freshman Lady Nighthawks recently finished the 1999-2000 season with wins over Brookfield, Immaculate, Jonathan Law and Foran to give themselves an impressive 13-5 record.

Caitlyn Elf continued to lead the team on offense, averaging 13 points a game, with Monica Cluff outstanding on defense and Brittany Hutchison getting better and better off the boards (averaging 10 rebounds a game).

Christine Manfredonia and Kristen McGrath have controlled the back court, averaging just under 10 points a game combined. Julie Nietsch (the sixth man) provided instant offense and defense off the bench. Christina Andrews has come on with a pair of three-pointers and terrific defense (held Foran’s best player to zero second-half points in that win).

Gina Gilroy played well, having her best game against Seymour with eight points and three rebounds. Amanda Molden, Megan Steuer, Michelle Grimaldi and Steph Wiedemann all scored in the final few games to round out the team effort.

The freshmen were coached by Dick Eigen and Chris Privalsky.
