Alcohol Charges

Police report they charged two youths with illegal possession of alcohol by a minor on the Newtown High School grounds near the school’s graduation ceremonies on the evening of June 19.

Police said that during the ceremonies they found that Courtney O’Neil Steele, 19, of 147 Brushy Hill Road and Michael S. Forestieri, 16, of 8 Diamond Drive were in possession of alcohol.

Police said officers who were assigned to work at the graduation ceremonies found the violations.

The two youths charged are scheduled to appear June 29 in Danbury Superior Court to answer the charges.
