Auditions For A Revolutionary Musical

WILTON — The Wilton Playshop is holding auditions for the Revolutionary musical 1776 on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 4-5. 1776 is being presented as part of the Town of Wilton’s bicentennial celebrations and is being sponsored by The Wilton Bank.

The show has openings for 25 men and two women. The men’s ages range from 20-75 and the women are in their 30s.

Those auditioning should arrive prepared to sing with music in their key, preferably not a song from the show.  An accompanist will be provided. Dress comfortably.

The auditions will take place at The Wilton Playshop, on Lover’s Lane, beginning at 7 both nights. Callbacks will be Thursday, September 6, also beginning at 7. The show is scheduled to run weekends, November 2-24, with two Sunday matinees scheduled.
