CAPE COD MUSEUM ANNOUNCES PLANS FOR JUNE ANTIQUES SHOW

avv/gs set 1-23 #685535

SANDWICH, MASS. — Winter is the time of hibernation, but not so for The Cape Cod Antiques Dealers Association. Various committees have been busily planning and preparing for another eventful year to present its two major antiques shows and fall seminar.

First on the agenda is the 28th annual Spring Outdoor Antiques Show and Sale, which will take place on Sunday, June 3, at Heritage Museum and Gardens in Sandwich from 10 am to 4 pm.

The tented event, with an anticipated participation of 60 member-dealers in country and formal furniture, Americana and accessories, will be a one-day-only event, rain or shine, with no rain date. Improved lighting will be used in the large tent, which will be erected on the level upper events field. Some exhibitors prefer to set up their own tents, and are invited to do so. Ample parking will be adjacent to the tents housing the exhibit.

The museum’s official caterer, The Casual Gourmet, will again be on site to provide meals. Further, the museum will offer a $3 discount to its exhibits upon presentation of a CCADA Spring Antique Show ticket stub. This discount will be honored on the day of the event through October 31.

For information, contact show manager Carl Bergfors through www.ccada.com or at 508-362-5174.
