Note To Letter Writers

Since The Newtown Bee’s November 4 issue will be the last before Election Day on November 8, some restrictions will be placed on political letters to the editor.

Letters to the editor affirming one’s support for a candidate will be accepted for publication. Letters that raise criticisms of or negative allegations about candidates will not be published since there will be no opportunity for those views to be rebutted. As always, all letters are published at the sole discretion of the editor.
