Girl Scouts Enjoy Encampment Experience

Approximately 200 Girl Scouts from the Newtown Service Unit of the Girl Scout Council of Southwestern Connecticut recently enjoyed camping at the Girl Scout Camp Aspetuck in Weston on the weekend of May 21–23.

Cadettes from Newtown Middle School’s Troop 890 loved assisting the younger campers in tasks including tent pitching, cooking, and flag raising. The scouts also played games including archery and volleyball.
