Lullabies’ Will Be Featured In Choral Society Concert

Newtown Choral Society will be featuring Conrad Susa’s Carols and Lullabies in its 2006 holiday concert.

Subtitled “Christmas in the Southwest,” the piece will be sung in Spanish and in English during the performance, which will be offered on Sunday, December 3. The concert will be at Newtown Meeting House, 31 Main Street. It will begin at 4 pm.

The choir, under the direction of Mary Andreotta and accompanied by Todd Gorski, will also present holiday compositions from around the world, including African Noel, Betelehemu and traditional carols of French and German origin.

Tickets for the event are $9 and $7 for seniors and ages 12 and under.  They will be available at the door.
