SACIA Presents ‘Overtime In Hartford –– The 2003 Legislative Session’

STAMFORD — SACIA, The Business Council of Southwestern Connecticut, will present “Overtime in Hartford –– The 2003 Legislative Session” on Tuesday, July 29, at SACIA’s offices, One Landmark Square, Second Floor, Stamford, from 7:45 until 9:15 am.

The session will be led by Joe McGee, SACIA president of public policy, who is a former commissioner of economic development under Governor Lowell Weicker.

The 2003 session of the General Assembly has been contentious. Much of the debate and drama continues to be focused on the state budget. The General Assembly, however, took action on a number of far-reaching and publicly debated acts that have implications for the quality of life in Fairfield County. SACIA presents its own expert who will share his insight on the impacts of this extraordinary session on the future.

For more information, or to register, contact SACIA at 203-359-3220. Cost is free for SACIA members and $30 for nonmembers.
