Teacher In Bridgeport For 27 Years

Evelyn Bouchner, 78, of Fairfield, died April 26 at her residence. Mrs Bouchner was born in Newark, N.J., a daughter of the late Carl and Ethel (Feibusch) Friedberg.

She is survived by her loving husband, Lawrence Bouchner of Fairfield; her devoted children, Steven Bouchner and his wife, Dana, of Newtown, Sheri Malvasi of Shelton, Carol Bouchner and her husband, Von Saunders, of Durham, N.C., and Richard Bouchner and his wife, Marguerite, of New York City; her adored grandchildren, Lucas, Chase, Brittany, Dakota, Sarah, and Chris; and by her brother-in-law, Jerry Bouchner and his wife, Elaine, of Boca Raton, Fla.

She attended Trenton State Teachers College in New Jersey. Mrs Bouchner was a teacher in the Bridgeport Public Schools for more than 27 years.

Services will be private.

 The Abraham L. Green & Son Funeral Home, 88 Beach Road, Fairfield, is in care of the arrangements. Shiva was scheduled to be observed on Thursday, April 27, and Friday, April 28, in the Bouchner residence in Fairfield.
