Softball Success

Megan Goyda and Katie Laaksonen, members of the 12U Connecticut Seahawks Black Fastpitch Softball team, wrapped up a very successful fall season with three tournament victories in as many attempts. Their most recent victory at Fastpitch Nation in Bloomfield, earned them a trip to the USSSA National Tournament at ESPN Wide World of Sports in Disney World next July. The Seahawks 12U team is new this year and is comprised of players from Newtown, Stamford, Fairfield, and Trumbull. After taking the rest of the year off, the team will be back in action in January at the Adirondack Dome in Queensbury, NY.
