Frances Jones Grey, 95, of Newtown and formerly of Vermont, beloved wife of the late David S. Grey, died May 2, at River Glen Health Care Center, Southbury. Daughter of the late Margaret (Kelsey) Herbert G. and Jones, she was born March 25, 1916, in Ardmore, Penn.

Mrs Grey is survived by her daughter, Wendy Grey of Newtown; three sons, Peter Grey of Sherborn, Mass., Sumner Grey of West Brattleboro, Vt., and Mark Grey of Canandaigua, N.Y.; six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. She also leaves a nephew and his family.

She was a psychiatric social worker for McLean Hospital in Belmont, Mass., for many years. Her avocation was classical cello and she performed with many amateur orchestras and chamber groups over her lifetime.

Memorial Service will be held in private.
