This Weekend
Boy Scout Troop 770 will be conducting its annual Christmas wreath sale as a troop fundraiser. Proceeds will help underwrite scout programs and activities like community service projects, monthly campouts, leadership training, and supplies and troop equipment. Troop 770 is chartered by St Rose Church but is open to all boys, ages 11â17 years.
Scouts will sell wreaths to the public at St Rose Church on Saturday, November 26, 5 to 7 pm; Saturday, December 3, 3 to 7 pm; and Sundays, November 27 and December 4, 10 am to 2 pm. Wreaths will also be sold at the Sandy Hook Center Tree Lighting on December 3 outside Katherineâs Kitchen.
The wreaths are 12-inch fresh balsam fir and cost $15 each. All proceeds benefit Boy Scout Troop 770 and help fund troop activities. Wreaths may also be ordered by contacting Chris Davis at chrisdavis_5@hotmail.com or telephone 203-426-8639.
