Registrars Post Important Election-Related Dates

Newtown’s registrars of voters remind individuals interested in participating in the November 6 Presidential election about the following important dates:

*Saturday October 20 — Registrar of voters office will be open from 10 am until 2 pm. Stop by and register to vote or check registration.

*Tuesday October 23 —Last day to have someone else drop off your voter registration application or mail it in. To vote in November 6 Presidential Election this is the final postmark date.

*Tuesday October 30 — Registrar of voters office will be open from 8 am until 8 pm. This is the last day to register to vote and be eligible to vote November 6. This must be done in person. Between October 24 and October 30, qualified individuals must come in personally to register to vote.
