Living Well With Diabetes

NEW MILFORD — On Tuesday, November 28, at 6:45 pm at the New Milford Hospital Robison Conference Rooms, endocrinologist Socorro Vargas, MD, will present a community Health forum entitled “Living Well with Diabetes.” A free blood sugar screening will precede the lecture.

During her talk, Dr Vargas will discuss the various types of diabetes, the scope and impact of the disease, how diabetes is managed, and complications involved. Her talk will include information on diet, exercise, blood testing, and treatments.
