Bluefish Game Benefitting Milford Teen
The Bridgeport Bluefish will open their eight season on April 28, hosting the Long Island Ducks, and at the same time will be sponsoring a fundraiser for John Tartaglio of Milford who survived a bout with a rare disease that claimed both of his legs and his left bicep. The teen has substantial long-term medical and rehabilitation needs, not all of which are covered by insurance, and revenues from Opening Day tickets purchased in his name, as well as fundraiser vouchers, will be split 50/50 with the proceeds going to the John Tartaglio Fund. Traditionally, fundraiser vouchers are for Sunday through Thursday games during the season. Contact the Bluefish ticket office at 203-345-4800 for tickets.
