Go Behind The Scenes Of A Reality Show: ‘Survivor’ Finalist To Visit Mark Twain Library

WEST REDDING — Who hasn’t wondered, even for a brief moment, what it would be like to be part of a “reality TV” show?

One of the first programs to change the face of television as we know it is the CBS reality series Survivor, a long-running reality series that takes place in exotic locales around the world. Closer to home, Survivor-Girl Cirie Fields, of Fairfield County, was not only on the show, but invited back this season for another go around in Survivor: Micronesia — Fans versus Favorites – and has proven her mettle once again by becoming a finalist in the grueling contest.

The series ends next week, and the Mark Twain Library will be hosting a program with Cirie Fields following the finale, on Saturday, June 21, at 5 pm. Fresh off of the show, Ms Fields will talk about how she became a “Survivor,” what it is like behind the scenes of a reality show, and share with the audience her personal stories and photos.

The program is free, and refreshments will be served. Reservations can be made by calling the Mark Twain Library 203-938-2545.

The library is on the corner of Route 53 and Diamond Hill Road in West Redding.
