Clarification

A report in the December 10 edition about two local grassroots programs that formed to assist families of special education students did not clearly indicate that a parents’ advocacy council, which includes local school district staff, is a separate initiative that sprung from, and includes members of, the private group PAC — Parents Advocating for their Children (www.newtownpac.com).
