Salute To Veterans

BROOKFIELD CENTER — The vocal and musical group J and B Lite will perform a free concert to honor local veterans on Sunday, November 6. The concert will begin at 2 pm and will be offered at Brookfield Public Library, 182 Whisconier Road (Route 25).

Billy Michael, who leads the group, will present a selection of popular music, which emerged during the war years from the Civil War through World War I and II and up to the present time. Lead singer Mollie McDonald and Leanna Pizzo, both of Brookfield, will provide vocal accompaniment.

In addition, three area combat veterans will be honored for their wartime service. The public is invited and admission is free.

 Refreshments will be served.
