Angelo R. Buglione
Angelo R. Buglione, 87, husband of Jennie Jean (Picchiello) Buglione, died January 19 in Bridgeport Hospital.
He was the father of Lora Maguire of Newtown.
Born on October 17, 1912, in Hoboken, N.J., he was the son of the late Raphael and Francesca (Silvestrino) Buglione. A United States Army veteran of World War II, Mr Buglione was a longtime resident of Bridgeport before moving to Monroe three years ago. He was an assembler for the Exide Battery Company of Fairfield for 25 years before his retirement in 1977. He was a 1947 graduate of the New York Trade School where he studied piano tuning. He worked in the Greater Bridgeport area as a piano tuner for many years. He was an accomplished pianist.
In addition to his wife, Mr Buglione is survived by another daughter, Frances Mayko of Milford; a brother, Frank Buglione of Milford; and sisters, Jennie Cepetelli of Stratford, Ann Buglione of Hamden, Millie Lombardo of New Haven, Amelia Zumbo of Monroe and Matilda McKenna of Fairfield. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Rachel and T.J. Maguire of Newtown and Sara and Michael Mayko of Milford.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated January 22 in St Jude Church, 707 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe. Interment was in Saint Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
The Spadaccino Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, was in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Saint Jude Church Building Fund.
