Arrangements & Gardening At Garden Club Meeting

The Garden Club of Newtown will feature a flower arranging demonstration and a program on home growing versus professional gardening during its next meeting.

Christina Maturi, the owner of Newtown Florist and the current president of Newtown Chamber of Commerce, will be the club’s guest speaker. Ms Maturi will demonstrate bouquet and vase arrangements, and then discuss the differences between home gardening and professional flower growing.

The garden club will be meeting on Tuesday, February 22. A general club business meeting and members’ lunch will begin at noon; Ms Maturi’s program will begin at 1 pm. Non-members are invited to attend the program free of charge.
